Dear Greene School Community:
The Greene Board of Education is continuing to make excellent progress in its search for our new Superintendent of Schools. As part of the decision-making process, the Board has invited the two finalists to provide a presentation and answer some interview questions for a live audience of interested community members. This will be listening sessions only for the community members in attendance. The community forum for each candidate is scheduled for Thursday, February 8, 2024, beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. The schedule is as follows:
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Aaron Kaminsky
- 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Lisa-Marie Carter
During the forum, each candidate will take approximately twenty minutes to provide a presentation introducing themselves and their candidacy. Then, they will answer questions for about twenty to twenty-five minutes. Upon the conclusion of the Q & A session, community members present will be able to provide feedback to the Board through a survey. The Board will use this feedback from the community in making its final decision on the successful candidate.
During each candidate’s forum, the community is invited to observe, however there will be no communication between the candidates and the audience. The Board is seeking input from the community regarding which questions you would like the candidates to answer during the Q & A part of their presentation.
