Poster English Students Create Posters For "To Kill A Mockingbird"
Miss Brant's 11th grade English students were assigned a historical topic pertaining to their current reading, To Kill A Mockingbird, and a passage from which to gather details.  They were assigned groups to collaborate and analyze his/her assigned text to create an informative poster.  The posters were displayed around the classroom for a gallery walk.  Students took notes utilizing the information provided on each poster. They then made inferences about To Kill A Mockingbird utilizing the historical details they gathered.  This was a fun and informative project that the students enjoyed.

Earn Cash for Our School Box Tops For Education to Support Our School

Did you know that every Boxtop equals a dime? That’s right! When you clip a Boxtop and send it in with your child, our school earns 10 cents.

Here in Greene three buildings use this program to raise funds. For example, the middle school uses the money for student breakfasts during the state ELA and math assessments
