Bus Vote Supported with 81% approval
Thank you very much for your continued support of the Greene Central School. The final vote tally was 74 yes to 17 no votes for an approval rate of 81%. Our students thank you for continuing to provide them with excellent transportation.
Greene Central School District looks to replace necessary buses each year, usually after a minimum of 10 years of service and with over 100,000 miles of driving.  This replacement plan keeps our vehicles safe for our students and minimizes annual maintenance costs.  This year we would like to purchase two (2) 65 passenger gasoline school buses with camera systems and one (1) large passenger bus with wheel chair access and camera system at a total cost not to exceed $348,361.
