Dear GCS Community,
We hope this message finds you well. We are excited to announce that we have secured Steered Straight (https://www.steeredstraight.org/),
a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness on vaping, the opioid crisis, and cyberbullying, to visit Greene on Tuesday, January 2nd. This event is sponsored by the district and will encompass students from grades 4-12.
Steered Straight will conduct assemblies at the High School Middle School, and Intermediate Schools, aiming to educate and engage our students on these critical topics. Additionally, there will be K-12 professional development sessions for all teaching staff
grades K-12.
We believe this event will be impactful for our community, and we encourage all staff members to participate. In addition, there will be a special offering for parents from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Tuesday, January 2nd. We hope to see you there to support our collective efforts in creating a safe and informed environment for our students.
