Annual Budget Vote and BOE Election Results

Due to our Internet being down today, we are now able to share the following information.

Greene CSD is pleased to announce that the Greene community passed the 2024-2025 school budget with a 62% approval rating with 111 casting votes in favor and 68 opposed.
 
Voters approved Proposition 2, Transportation & School Vehicle Purchase, with a 71% approval rating.  Voters cast 127 votes in favor and 51 opposed.
 
On behalf of the Board of Education, administrators, staff, and students, we would like to thank everyone that took the time to vote yesterday.
 
Board of Education Results:
There were three candidates for two full-term seats and one partial seat that were up for election this year on the Board of Education.  The two full-term seats went to Brian Milk and Sherwood Fendryk as the top two vote getters. Christopher Austin placed third and has earned the partial term seat.  Here are the vote totals:
 
• Brian Milk - 152
• Sherwood Fendryk - 151
• Christopher Austin - 90
 
The three-year full terms will begin on July 1 this year and go through June 30, 2027.  The partial term seat runs from May 22, 2024, through the remainder of the unexpired term (June 30, 2025).
