English as a New Language

English as a New Language

Greene Central School is committed to helping every student succeed, including students who are learning English as an additional language. We provide support to help English Language Learners (ELLs) develop their English language skills while making progress in all areas of their education.

We work closely with students and families to identify the supports and services that best meet each student’s individual needs. Families are an important part of this process, and we encourage parents and guardians to ask questions, share information, and stay involved in their child’s education.

Our goal is to ensure that all ELL students feel welcomed, supported, and included in our school community while developing the language skills they need to be successful in school and beyond.

If you have questions about ELL services or supports, please contact Brian Breck at 607-656-4161 ext. 3803. We are here to help your family navigate the process and support your child’s success.
