The Greene Middle School Counseling Office plays an integral part in meeting our school's mission statement. Through collaboration with teachers and parents, we work to ensure that the personal/social, academic, and career development goals of all students are realized. We work with teachers and parents to develop interventions that may assist children to be successful both within and outside of the classroom. Interventions may include consultation or collaboration with teachers and parents to determine appropriate assistance, long or short term individual or group counseling, or classroom lessons designed to meet the developmental needs of all students.

The transition from 5th to 6th grade is an exciting but sometimes overwhelming experience for both kids and their parents. Similarly, the transition that occurs when you move into Greene from another district can also be quite overwhelming. The resources on this page are designed to help make that process easier.
