Our mission is to provide varied and nutritious meals to the children and staff of our school district.
We are pleased to inform you that Greene Central Schools will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2026-2027 school year.
What does this mean for your child(ren) attending the school(s) identified above?
All students enrolled at Greene Central School are eligible to receive one healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2026-2027 school year.
Additional items such as snacks, ala carte items and milk (purchased separate from a meal) are available for purchase.
An application is included in our newsletter and available by clicking below.
We encourage each family to fill it out and return it all soon as possible for other funding options available to our school.

Greene Central Schools uses mySchoolBucks. This website allows you to deposit money directly into your child’s school meal account and view balance/purchase information for the past ninety days. By having money in each child’s account prior to entering the cafeteria, we find that the lunch lines move along much faster, which gives your child more time to eat and be with friends.
To access this service:
- Go to the district web site at www.greenecsd.org
- Click the Departments tab, then select the Food Services link.
- Click the mySchoolBucks link.
- From this website you can create your account and add money to your child’s school meal account. All you need is your child’s name, school, and Cafeteria Pin number.
NYS Universal Free Meals Program
As part of the State's Universal Free Meals program, we want to provide families in our District with direct links for assistance. Please see below links for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Eligibility and requirements, and the process to enroll in SNAP.
All families are encouraged to apply to help our District continue to receive Universal Free Meal Programs for all of our students.
