Superintendent Letter Addressing Back to School Planning
The GCS Reopening Task Force has met, and we are in the process of discussing options for the fall.  Since the state won’t have guidance until July 13th at the earliest, we have been reviewing many of the plans from other states. As a first step, we are looking at several different areas, and determining how they could look in each of the three models:  remote learning environment, hybrid environment, or return to school environment.   Some areas we have identified include transportation, special education, nutrition, teaching & learning, social emotional needs, athletics/clubs, digital equity & access, health issues, and facilities. Please see the attached letter from Superintendent Calice with things you should consider as we move towards the reopening of schools.
