(12/20): Congratulations to the O-G wrestling team on their
46-39 victory over the Unatego Spartans. Winning for O-G were Kaadin Wakefield,
Christiana Bowers, Mallory Fowler, Nico Hubbard, Hogan Ludolph, Paul Baker,
Noah Kennedy and Abram Parsons. Several of our starting wrestlers are still out
on injury from the previous competition. Filling in those spots are our less
experienced wrestlers. With the inexperience, small mistakes add up which was
problematic for our wrestlers who had head to head matches last night. Our goal
in the next few days are to work on positioning when in certain situations. Mat
and body awareness are difficult skills to learn, and are only learned through
experience / live wrestling.
