It is with great enthusiasm that I and my
colleagues on the Greene Central School District Board of Education announce
the selection of our next school superintendent.After months of searching for the candidate with
the right combination of experience, leadership skills and personal integrity,
we are pleased to inform you that Tim Calice has accepted our offer to begin
contract negotiations to serve as superintendent of schools.
As an administrator holding several different
positions in our district for the past nine years, Mr. Calice possesses the
proven leadership skills and passion for education that we believe will be
critical to guiding our district through the years ahead. Tim has demonstrated
experience in curriculum and professional development, budget preparation,
capital project management and community outreach. Most importantly, his
commitment to, and passion for our district is second to none.
