Dear Parents/Guardians
This is an important update regarding home screening of students before they are sent to school each day. We appreciate your efforts to complete our screening app every morning prior to your child coming to school. This process has proven to be an important communication piece between our district and its families.
We also want to share with you the most recent NYSDOH guidance on whether a student should be sent to school. This attached flowchart will allow you to walk through the decision process on whether your child can attend school, and the steps required to clear your child if they do become ill or are exposed to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19.
As always please err on the side of caution, and contact your child's nurse or principal if you have any questions on the procedures. Everyone's cooperation with this will continue to allow us to provide in-person instruction to our students.
