Dear Parents/Guardians
This is an important update regarding home screening of students before they are sent to school each day. This screening is needed each morning for every student who will be receiving in-person instruction at the GCS campus or in-person instruction at any off-campus location.
We have activated our new COVID-19 Screener for home use. This is the program that all parents will use to provide the district with student health information prior to school each morning. Please log in and get used to this app over the weekend to make the start of school easier for you.
If you have not yet downloaded our GCS app, please go to the app store and get it as soon as you can. It is free and very easy to use. You can find it in the app store on an iPhone, or in Google Play if you have an Android device by searching Greene Central School.
Once you have downloaded the app, parents/guardians you will need to register the very first time you open the app. Once you have registered in the App you can follow the step-by-step instructions for you on our web page under the REOPENING tab to enroll each of your children in the COVID-19 Check-in.
As a reminder if a student has a fever of 100 degrees or over the student must stay home.
We still have a few more screening questions to add to the app, so we are asking that you please do not answer the screening questions before next Thursday. We are only asking you to familiarize yourself with it, and enroll your students at this time.
