Greene Schools Request Community Assistance in Veteran Alumni Digital Memorial
Dearest Community Members:

Our students, staff and community took great pride in honoring the many Veterans that were able to join us at our Primary School program earlier this week. It is because of that outpouring of support that our District leadership has developed a means to honor
all GCS alumni that have served our country in the U.S. Armed Forces.
It is worth mentioning that our Veterans Pride Morning Program event was a very special day for our community, and a big hit with our students as well. Taking time to recognize the merit of dedication and sacrifice is fundamental to how we lead our students, instilling a sense of pride and community service from UPK to graduation day.

To honor Veterans who call Greene Central School their alma mater, we want to extend an invitation to our community to assist us in creating a special digital memorial that can be viewed by our building visitors, staff, and students on our internal touch screens. This memorial will also be made available on our website for the world to see.

If you are, or know, a GCS Alumni who also happens to be one of the brave that stepped up to serve our great nation in any branch of the Armed Forces, please share this form with them (or their family members) so that we can build out this important memorial.

Below is a link to a Google form that should be completed by each service member/alumni. If you need assistance in completing this form, please do not hesitate to reach out to the District Office at 607-656-4161, ext. 214.

Veterans Information Form

To our community: Thank you for your continued support of our local Veterans and assisting us with cementing their legacy at Greene Central School indefinitely.

Respectfully,
