Our Greene Field Hockey team capped off an exciting weekend by clinching the Section IV Sectional Championship on Saturday, October 29 at Owego against M-E.
The Lady Trojans handily blanked Maine-Endwell’s varsity squad with a final score of 4-0. Payton Yahner, Emma Rice, Bella Tierno, McKenzie Scott each produced scoring goals with Payton Yahner contributing an impressive three assists.
Greene’s next contest will be at the regionals this upcoming Saturday, November 5 at Sidney high school, 11 a.m. when they take on Cicero-North Syracuse.
