Dear 8th Grade Parents and Families,
The 8th grade awards are scheduled to start at 12:30 pm on June, 21st. Originally, we planned for this to be a student only event, but we are now going to open the event up to families as well. Each student will be allowed to have two family members attend the awards in-person, which will allow us to stay within the updated guidance.
All students and family members must be masked during the event
Family members will be temperature checked and then sign in
Family members should plan to arrive between 12:00 and 12:10 pm in order to get seated before the awards ceremony
Adults will enter through the auditorium doors (not the middle school main office)
Adults can park in the bus spots directly in front of the school, or the parent drop off lane
Students will be told on Thursday of this week whether or not they will be receiving an award (to allow parents to make the decision on whether they want to attend)
There will be tickets going home with the 8th grade students early next week! Please make sure you bring your ticket to the event so we can ensure we are staying within our limits.
