Candidates for Board of Education and VOTE Information

 G.C.S. Board Election and Budget Vote – May 18, 2021
 An election will be held on Tuesday, May 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for eligible voters to elect two members to the G.C.S. School Board, in addition to voting on the school budget. 
 Once filled, these two seats will follow the three-year term and will expire June 30, 2024.
 Candidates who submitted petitions to run for these open seats are:
  • Natalie McMahon
  • Brian Milk
A public hearing to review the 2021-2022 school budget will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the evening of May 10, 2021 in the auditorium.
 VOTING QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MAY 18 BUDGET REFERENDUM
In order to vote, a person must fulfill all of the following requirements:
1. Be a citizen of the United States.
2. Be at least 18 years of age.                                                                                                
3. Be a resident within the District for a period of at least
    30 days preceding the meeting at which he/she offers to vote.     
Direct mailings outlining the proposed budget will be sent to residents soon. Any resident wishing additional information concerning the proposed 2021-2022 school budget or the election should contact the District Office.
