Youth Apprenticeship Program

Begin the application process!

In January and February, I will be coming around to the Global II and US History classes to talk about the Youth Apprenticeship Program. You are always welcome to come talk to me about this program and if this is the right program for you!

With each new year, our apprentices learn to maximize their time management skills in order to juggle school, work, sports, home, and their social lives. Though it is a lot for our youths, these apprentices are dedicated to making it all work. We are so proud of you!!!

Work Experience Coordinators Association

Congratulations to our 2023/2024 Youth Apprentices for their acceptance into the program!

Over the next one to two years, the Apprentices will:

obtain work experience with the help from the Firm Coordinator, their Mentors, and coworkers.
take an online class on Self-Management. This course is taught through the Fast Forward program with SUNY Broome.
complete a senior project that will be presented to the firms involved, family, school personnel, and Broome-Tioga BOCES.

Senior Apprentices:

Congratulations to our seniors who completed the Youth Apprenticeship Program during their Junior and Senior years! The end of year brings a lot of reflection, a show of dedication, and so many achievements to look back on.

Good luck to our current seniors who will continue in the 2023 - 2024 school year and our new Juniors and Seniors who are joining the apprentice family!
