Welcome to Mrs. Blakeslee's Homepage!
Greetings Students & Families!
I am excited to be part of the 6th grade team and one of the special education teachers who will be working with middle school students.  I will be providing supportive reading, ELA, and math instruction in the 6th grade classrooms, as well as, teaching resource classes to some students.

If you would like to communicate about your child, you may contact any of the team teachers using the links on our homepages or call us directly at school when you have questions or concerns.  Furthermore, if you have information, resources, or special skills/talents to share that you think may be helpful, please feel free to share with me. Through cooperative collaboration, we can foster positive educational experiences for your child.

A Little About Me...
Dear Families,
I am thrilled to be part of the teaching and learning community at Greene C.S.D.  This year will be my fifteenth year of teaching.  Prior to coming to Greene to work as a special education teacher, I taught at Harpursville for ten years where I gained experience teaching students in 4th and 6th grade.

For those who are not familiar with me, my family and I reside in the Town of Colesville.  My oldest daughter, however, recently purchased her first home and lives in the Chenango Valley School District. She is a respiratory therapist at a local hospital.  My oldest son is a freshman in college and studying aquatic and environmental sciences.   My youngest son is a senior.  He attends a BOCES Oak Tree Program for children with autism at Chenango Forks where he takes Regents and college level classes, is a member of the Mock Trial Club, serves as the Student Council Vice President, and is Co-President of the Leadership Club.  Last, but not least, my youngest daughter is a second grader who will be joining the Greene School community and enjoys karate and playing field hockey.

It is an honor to be part of the professional team here at Greene.  The staff and community have instilled a culture of high expectations for the continued growth and success of the students.  I look forward to a new year of teaching and learning in the Greene School District.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Blakeslee
