Governor's Budget Proposal Negatively Impacts Greene (UPDATE)

Thank you to everyone who returned signed letters to our Governor and Legislative Leaders. We have received over 100 letters for each of our leaders.

The Governor’s fax line is tied up with each letter and he will receive actual signed letters via the mail. The Superintendent has personally delivered letters to both Assemblyman Crouch and Senator Libous.

Protecting Children and Teens Offline and Online
The Nation Center for Missing & Exploited Children will be presenting on Tuesday, March 24th at 7:00 PM in the MS/HS Auditorium. The presentation is Protecting Children and Teens Offline and Online. Please see the attached flier for more information.
G.C.S. Board of Education Petitions Available

An election will be held on Tuesday, May 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for eligible voters to decide who should fill two vacancies on the G.C.S. school board, in addition to voting on the upcoming school budget. Two seats will expire June 30, currently held by Richard Boeltz and James Strenkert. Board of Education members are elected for a three-year term.

UPK 2015-2016
It is time to prepare for our upcoming 2015-2016 Universal Prekindergarten program that is held at Greene  Primary School. We plan to hold both a morning and afternoon class. There is no cost to attend the program and we will continue to provide transportation for those that need it.

Physics Students Get Real World Physics Applications
The TC3 College Physics students from the Greene Central High School worked in Raymond® Test Lab right after Christmas break. The focus of the STEM event was to give students a chance to interact with real world applications of physics.

GCS Opens to Adult Walkers Beginning November 3rd
